Where to find Ruby Weapon in Final Fantasy 7?

• Equip your characters with the best armor and weapons you have. You will also want to equip them with Materia that will give them resistance to status effects, such as Slow and Silence.
• Bring a lot of healing items. Ruby Weapon can deal a lot of damage, so you will need to be able to heal your characters frequently.
• Use the Paralyze status effect to your advantage. Ruby Weapon is susceptible to the Paralyze status effect. You can use items such as Dazers or the Deathblow Limit Break to inflict Paralyze on Ruby Weapon. Once it is paralyzed, you can attack it freely without fear of retaliation.

Reflect back its strong attacks using the Reflect Materia. If you can reflect enough of its attacks back at it, you can quickly whittle down its health.
3. Ensure that someone is casting the Time Materia to slow Ruby Weapon down constantly. Slowing it down will give you more time to attack it and less time to worry about it attacking you.
4. If you can’t reflect its attacks, use the Barrier Materia instead. It significantly protects your characters from damage. This can be very helpful in a battle against a powerful boss like Ruby Weapon.
5. Just keep on juggling these steps and attacking whenever possible. It may take a long time, but you’d soon see Ruby Weapon’s HP going down following this route.

Risky Route

1. Enter the battle with two of your characters dead (told you it will be risky). This will prevent Ruby Weapon from using its Whirlsand attack, which can instantly kill a character.
2. Have your remaining character use Dazers to paralyze the boss.
3. Once it is paralyzed, revive the other two characters quickly and have them use their strongest attacks. Basically, you are keeping one character as the tank and healer of the party while the other two focus on damage.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the game’s arguably hardest boss goes down.
