Riot Games is allegedly beta-testing the Valorant Mobile (VM) in China. It will be a closed beta test for the Chinese version of VM, also known as Project C.  It is the codename for this version of the mobile game, which will launch straight after its confirmation earlier this year. Here’s what you need to know so far.

Valorant Mobile Beta Test in China

Before you start asking questions, the answer is no we don’t know. Unfortunately, we do not have information yet on when the beta-testing for the global version of VM. There are two versions, one for China and one for all regions. It is also understandable why Riot prioritized the region since they didn’t have Valorant China servers ready yet.

So, Riot might be using this opportunity to test out all its projects, like the replay feature, before launching it globally. As of now, the beta test will only be available to Android users in mid-August. However, knowing Riot Games, they will probably keep us on our toes. They might silently roll out the Valorant Mobile beta test in China.

If you want to join the Chinese version, you can participate in the closed beta with three requirements. All you need is a WeChat account, QQ account, and a registered Chinese phone number. Once you have all of these, you can register on the Tencent Pioneer. You will also have to answer a couple of questions to see if you’re the right match.
