Valorant China Finally Launches With New Feature

Last Updated on June 30, 2023

Riot Games finally launches Valorant in China, which also includes a much-requested feature. It also gives an opportunity to almost millions of new players. Yet, the main question on your mind right now might be the feature that many people requested.

The game will land in the region later on July 12, 2023. However, Riot already had the green light to release it last year on December 2022. It is also worth noting that the game had plenty of obstacles to overcome to become available to players. After all, China has strict laws to protect and nurture its citizens.

Now, gamers finally have the chance to try out the fast-paced tactical FPS. Yet, it also means that they can start playing in Episode 7 Act 1 alongside the Deadlock release. However, only 16 agents and four maps are available to players in Valorant China.

Hopefully, Riot Games, alongside Tencent, will add the other agents and maps over time. Riot Games also hopes that the launch will make waves across the region. There are tons of events and tournaments in store, which also makes it an exciting milestone for the game.

What is the New Feature Alongside the Valorant China Launch?

Players from CS: GO or Overwatch know how it feels when they think someone is hacking. Yet, when they also migrated to Valorant, they didn’t find an instant replay feature. The community then tried to consistently petition Riot for a replay feature with no news so far.

However, the much-requested feature will go alongside the launch of Valorant in China. After all, the replay system will make it fairer to players who have experience in catching hackers. There will also be a new exclusive weapon for the players in the region called the Tai Chi Fan.

There will also be an official offline event for the region during the summer. It includes 12 of the best Chinese teams, which will also compete in Shanghai. The competition is also the Qualifiers for the Valorant Champions 2023. You can watch the event as it runs from July 3 to July 16, 2023.
