Riot Games promised us two agents this year, which are Deadlock and the new Valorant duelist. However, it seems that the latest addition to the roster has a teaser in the Battle Pass. This could mean a number of things, which includes their abilities, lore, or even their name. Yet, we also know that the codename for the agent is Hyperfocus.

New Valorant Duelist: Hyperfocus
Since this is a leak from trusted X (Twitter) account user ValorLeaks, everyone is buzzing with excitement. After all, Riot did confirm that the last agent for this year after Gekko and Deadlock would be a Duelist. Hopefully, the agent would do better compared to Jett after her brutal nerfs.
The leak about a new Valorant duelist shows a player card named Bulletproof, according to ValorLeaks. They also said that the codename for the new agent is Hyperfocus. This could mean that the agent might have the ability to shield their teammates or become invincible like Reyna.
Fans also speculate that Hyperfocus comes from the other dimension, which we can see in the latest Valorant cinematic. The agent might even have the same abilities as Gekko, who is affected by the rift and can talk to rift creatures (?). However, we don’t exactly know for sure who they are and what they can do.
Yet, the new Valorant duelist could become the next game-changer. Hopefully, their abilities would make coaches consider using them in tournaments — unlike Deadlock. So, what do you think about this?
