The Valorant Champions 2023 tournament ended with announcements coming to Valorant, especially the Jett nerfs. In the coming patch 7.04, the highlights that every player can see are the absolute murder of Jett and the return of Breeze. The new patch will also include the latest map, Sunset, into the active map pool.

Jett Nerfs Bring Back Raze and Chamber Meta
We admit, we might be overdramatizing the fact that they buried Jett. However, we are not kidding when we say that Riot clipped her wings. In fact, they nerfed a lot of agents, including Astra, Skye, and much more. Yet, they also disregarded Deadlock’s kit entirely even though she did not make an appearance at the Champions tournament.
If anything, Riot should make adjustments to an agent that no one picked at an official pro match. Yet, they decided to bring some nerfs to Jett and other agents instead. The patch 7.04 preview did not satisfy both players and pros when it came to the agent adjustments.
Before anything else, Jett is the community-favorite Duelist in Valorant due to her mobility. She’s a slippery agent who can get away with frags for no punishment. However, Riot decided to nerf her with the following:
- Tailwind
- Dash Window Decreased from 12 seconds to 7 seconds
- Activation Windup Increase from .75 seconds to 1 second
- Cloudburst
- Duration Decreased from 4.5 seconds to 2.5 seconds
- Weapon Re-Equip time will take longer
- Updraft
- Reduced from 2 charges to 1 charge
- Blade Storm
- Ultimate Points Requirement Increased from 7 points to 8 points
