What is the Best Valorant Map?
Unfortunately, there isn’t one unanimous answer. After all, players are in a bind with the arrival of Sunset. Each map has its own pros and cons that you need to consider for it to become number one. So, let’s go with three factors to make up our criteria for everyone to see. We must judge each map according to Attacking, Defending, and Utility Usage.
These three factors will help us decide on the best map in Valorant. However, this leaves us with, more or less, three options: Icebox, Lotus, and Breeze. You might want to consider Ascent and Split, but the correct Utility Usage makes them difficult to be an overall good map. So, we’ll have to count them out of the options for now.
Icebox is a difficult map to contend with because the sites are easy to defend, but leaves them susceptible to attacks from the middle. It presents both equal opportunity for both the Attacking and Defending sides, depending on their utility. However, Lotus is in the same boat with a minor difference.
We can consider Lotus as one of the best maps in Valorant because it has three sites. Each site is beneficial for attackers and defenders. It emphasizes good strategy and aim, which makes it an optimal site for competitive players. Yet, the one that takes the cake is Breeze, especially the current update.
Now, Breeze is a matter of good positioning, strategy, and team composition. It presents equal opportunities for attackers and defenders and is no longer just about utility.
