How to Unlock Penny’s Heart Events in Stardew Valley

Penny has a captivating backstory revealed through a series of heart events. To trigger these events, focus on increasing your Friendship with her. In addition, there are specific actions you should do to unlock them:

  • Two Hearts – Enter Pelican Town on a sunny day between 9 AM and 2 PM. Acknowledging that Penny did a kind thing boosts Friendship by 50 points.
  • Four Hearts – Enter the Trailer when she’s home and help her clean up
  • Six Hearts – Enter the Trailer when she’s home and try a recipe she invented. Lie and compliment the food to boost Friendship by 50 points.
  • Eight Hearts – Join Penny on a field trip with Jas and Vincent and be enthusiastic about being a guest speaker. Later when Penny asks about thoughts on having children, expressing a desire to have a big family boosts Friendship points by 10-20.
  • Ten Hearts – Join Penny at the spa pool and express feelings for her.
  • Fourteen Hearts – Enter the farm house between 3 pm and 7 pm when she’s home.

Marrying Penny In Stardew Valley

When your Friendship reaches a certain level, you can propose to Penny. Mayor Lewis will inform you about the opportunity to buy a Mermaid’s Pendant from the Old Mariner, which is essential for proposing.

To be eligible for marriage, upgrade your farmhouse, build a strong connection with Penny, and ensure you have the necessary Friendship points. Once engaged, you’ll be one step closer to sharing your life with Penny in Stardew Valley.

Once married, Penny will move into the farmhouse. Like other marriage candidates, she will add her own room to the right of the bedroom. She’ll also set up a small garden behind the farmhouse where she’ll sometimes go to read. She will continue to work at the Museum and travel to town to work there on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

On rainy mornings, Penny may offer you Large Milk, Egg, Mixed Seeds, or a Geode. However, on the mornings when Penny stays inside all day, she may offer you Omelet, Hashbrowns, or Pancakes for breakfast.
