Farlight 84 could become the next PUBG, and players love it. After all, the monopoly of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is slowly going away. Yet, we can’t blame the game since several countries banned it due to controversies.
Even India, which held the largest player base for PUBG, is jumping ship to Farlight 84. Which is understandable since they also banned it. However, it is worth noting that battle royale games are not new to the gaming industry. So, what makes Farlight 84 so interesting?
What Is Farlight 84?
Farlight 84 is a battle royale game that FARLIGHT Games developed. It’s also a shooter game in a wasteland setting using Unreal Engine 4. Yet, Miracle Game SG Pte. Ltd. released the game earlier on April 24, 2023. Which begs the question, why are we only hearing about it now?
Well, it was only an early access game made for PC and mobile devices, like Android and iOS. You play as one of the characters in a post-apocalyptic world while fighting to be the last one standing. Farlight 84 also features a variety of weapons, vehicles, and unique abilities.
Players can use these abilities and the environment to set up a combo to win the game. It also features a unique jetpack system for players to fly around the map at their own risk. Farlight instantly received positive reviews from both critics and its player base.
They also praised the game’s graphics, combat mechanics, and content variety. However, like any other game, Farlight also received some backlash for the lack of originality. It also received some hate for its reliance on microtransactions.
Yet, Farlight 84 is a unique and consistent battle royale game that offers a unique gameplay experience. If you’re a fan of battle royales, the game is definitely worth checking out. Especially if you don’t have access to PUBG anymore.
Will It Become the Next PUBG?
As we stated earlier, it has the potential to become the next PUBG or a better version of it. Farlight 84 is a unique game in its own right. However, fans don’t generally appreciate the lack of originality.
If you play the game, you will notice that it has similar aspects to PUBG. After all, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was the top-tier battle royale game during its time. It also has some aspects from Apex Legends and an art style resembling Fortnite.
However, the controversies surrounding PUBG are what caused the bans. Although Farlight 84 has a similar feel and aesthetic, you must try it out.
Yet, we cannot deny the fun content it brings to its players. After all, it’s also a battle royale with a unique progression system. That system also allows players to keep grinding so they can unlock new weapons, vehicles, and abilities.
If they can keep marketing the game while still adding new content, Farlight 84 is a game to look out for. After all, it’s not every day that we can get a new battle royale. My suggestion is to download and play the game.
