The Pokemon World Championships 2023 in Yokohama, Japan, is right around the corner. Undoubtedly, it is one of the largest Pokemon events of the year. Even more, the Pokemon Company also revealed a list of events and merchandise for fans to enjoy worldwide.
Although the Championships are the main event, fans have tons of experiences to explore. The Pokemon World Championship 2023 events will also run from August 8 to August 14, 2023. However, the main spectacle will run from August 11 to August 13, 2023. So, you still have time to prepare if you want to make it to the competition.
What Are The Pokemon World Championships?
It is a yearly tournament where Pokemon trainers around the world come together to battle and celebrate the games they love. After all, the Pokemon World Championship 2023 challenges the players to become the very best. Yokohama will also be the first city ever to host this awesome event in Asia.
However, you shouldn’t confuse it with being the first world championship through the years. What Are The Planned Events?
The Pokemon Company revealed tons of events for the World Championships. Here’s what you can expect to see:
- The Pokemon Summer Festival Park. The championships will have a small festival full of stalls and dances associated with the Pokemon games. You can enjoy different types of fun activities and cuisines when you go to the event.
- Pokemon Trainers Cruise. You can also expect to see the Luxury Liner Japan Maru at the event. The Luxury Liner will also feature Pokemon battles and trades.
- The Fantastic Live Show. There will also be a live show featuring everyone’s favorite Pokemon, Pikachu.
- Imagination Into the Next. This activity will be a night show featuring water displays and projections.
- Pikachu March. You undoubtedly cannot have a Pokemon World Championship without featuring Pikachu.
- Special Parade. There will also be a special parade featuring tons of other Pokemon.
- PokeGenic Photo Spots. Lastly, there will also be spots around Yokohama for fans to enjoy making memories.
