The Starry Skies story in Pokemon GO is one of the quests for the Solstice Horizons event. It is a Special Research quest, which means going through tasks to achieve rewards. However, what makes this event interesting is the chance to encounter a Cosmog for the second time ever. For free!
You can also get the chance to encounter Nebby three times if you use the ticketed option. The option allows you to complete the tasks for the Special Research twice. After all, Cosmog is an incredibly hard Pokemon to find inside Pokemon GO.

What You Need to Do
The Starry Skies Special Research quest in Pokemon GO includes the daytime and nighttime branches. After all, it’s no easy feat to accomplish most of these tasks in the span of a few hours. You need to commit some serious time to get a Nebby. Here’s what you need to do:

- Explore 2km for a Solosis Encounter
- Catch 2 Psychic-types for an Abra Encounter
- Catch 10 different critters of Pokemon for a Gothita Encounter
- Rewards: Wobbuffet Encounter, 5 Razz Berries, 7 Stardust
- Step 2: (Choosing Daytime for Research in Starry Skies in Pokemon GO)
- Catch 20 Grass or Bug-type Pokemon to also get 10 Poke Balls
- Explore 10km for an Inkay
- Spin 25 at PokeStops or Gyms for 10 Pinap Berries
- Rewards: Galarian Slowpoke Encounter, 15 Poke Balls, 78 Stardust
- Step 3:
- Throw 10 Curveballs in a row for a 3,000 Stardust
- Catch 50 Pokemon with Weather Boost to also get a Metang Encounter

However, you should also remember that you can do the quest again. All you have to do is purchase the $5 ticket in the Pokemon GO Shope for the chance to go a second time. However, the tasks and rewards will still be the same, which can be pretty boring.
