What is Passimian in Pokemon GO?

The debutant critter is a Fighting-type Pokemon, also known as the Teamwork Pokemon on the Pokedex. It comes from Generation 7, making its first appearance on the Nintendo 3DS on Pokemon Sun & Moon. However, it’s relatively difficult to catch in the games, especially Pokemon GO.

Although Oranguru debuted in April 2022, Passimian just arrived on Pokemon GO. It’s not one of the easy Pokemon to catch, but there are some tips to follow. You can only catch the Pokemon in two ways: A 3-Star Raid Boss or a Field Research reward. However, you must do it during the Pokemon World Championships 2023 event, which ends on August 15 at 8 PM.

The best way to catch a Passimian is to defeat one in a 3-Star Raid Battle. It will be weak to Psychic, Fairy, and Flying-type Pokemon. Yet, there is also no harm in asking for help from other trainers to defeat it in a raid battle. After all, you might end up doing Field Research if you’re having a hard time.

For the Field Research option, you have to participate in the event-exclusive “Trade A Pokemon” task. Since you’ll need to spin at PokeStops to obtain it, you will also have to delete some existing tasks. Although it might seem tough, the easiest way to obtain a Passimian in Pokemon GO is through a raid battle.
