What Is Pokemon GO Fest 2023?
GO Fest 2023: Global is a digital event available to Pokemon GO Trainers worldwide from August 26-27, 2023. Event activities will run from 10 AM to 6 PM local time at each location. However, there’s a better detail for when the activities will run:
- London & Osaka: August 4-6, 2023
- New York City: August 18-20, 2023
- Global event: August 26-27, 2023
Yet, there will also be a special experience after the events of GO Fest Osaka, GO Fest London, and GO Fest New York City. The special experience also includes a massive Global GO Fest weekend event.
There will also be more than 70 Pokemon featured across four rotating habitats. You will also be able to find a special version of a costumed Pikachu. At Pokemon GO Fest 2023, you can also definitely expect some bonuses for a more fun experience. These bonuses include:
- Activated Lure Modules lasting for one hour.
- Special Field Research for each habitat
- Remote Raid Pass limit increased to 20 per day from August 26 to August 27.
- Special photobombs when you take snapshots during the event.
Global Habitats and Shiny Pokemon
The global habitats at the Pokemon GO Fest 2023 include the Quartz Terrarium, Pyrite Sands, Malachite Wilderness, and Aquamarine Shores. However, it is worth noting that these rotating habitats are only active on the first day of the event. Yet, the Pokemon found in these habitats will still be available on the second day. You should also note that these Pokemon will appear at random hours during the second day.
Even more, there will be an addition of five new Shiny Pokemon making their Pokemon GO debut. These Pokemon include Goomy, Oranguru, Shellos West Sea, Shellos East Sea, and Joltik. Yet, these are not the only Shiny Pokemon making an appearance at Pokemon GO Fest 2023.
In the event, the Unown Pokemon will also make an appearance. They will spell out the word DIAMOND. Pokemon GO Fest 2023 will also have the Mythical Pokemon, Diancie, make an appearance.
Tickets and Bonuses
