How to Catch a Ditto in Pokemon GO
As the Pokemon roster continues to expand, it can become a bit difficult to catch the ones you’re looking for. After all, you have ones like Ditto that can remain slippery to encounter. Yet, it’s also a critter you can’t catch through traditional methods. You might want to roam around all day long in the real world, but you’re likely to encounter it accidentally.
However, Niantic does give you a little help to catch a Ditto in Pokemon GO. Take Komala in Pokemon GO as an example. It might be a hard Pokemon to catch, but you’ll have your chance if you follow a strategy. In this case, the strategy is following Ditto’s Disguise Rotation every few months. Here’s a list of every Pokemon that might be a Ditto in hiding for July 2023:
- Corphish
- Diglett
- Grimer
- Litleo
- Roggenrola
- Starly
- Snubbull
- Tympole
You also need to be alert when catching one of these Pokemon. The message “Oh?” will appear on the screen, which means it is a Ditto hiding in plain sight. Yet, the best way to catch a Ditto is to catch as many Pokemon as possible. You can also do this by using the Lure Module and Incense method.
