What’s New With Mega Mewtwo Y?
For starters, the Mega Evolution X debuted as a melee all-rounder for the 2nd Anniversary. With the Y Evolution, you can now focus on ranged attacks and an increase in damage. However, it is also important to note that you will need to obtain a Mewtwo UNITE License to play this evolution.
You can obtain the License for Mega Mewtwo Y by participating in the Mewtwo’s Crystal Challenge event. There will be daily dice and you can also complete missions to advance on the game board. You don’t need to use Aeos Coins or Gems to get a license, but using Aeos Gems will help you progress faster on the board.
Although it’s the same Pokemon, this evolution brings a completely different playstyle. You also have to take note that your team can only pick one Mewtwo. There is also one thing you have to keep in mind, which is Mewtwo’s Ability called Pressure. Once you understand how it works, you will dominate the battle in no time.
Mega Mewtwo Y’s Ability, Pressure, is a gauge that will increase when you keep basic attacking opponents. The more Mega Gauge you have, the more Sp. Atk. and Atk. Speed will increase. Once you have gotten your gauge to full at Level 5, it will Mega Evolve and have a significant increase to Sp. Atk. and Atk. Speed
