The new PlayStation Plus games catalogue additions for April have been announced and they are definite must-haves. So much so that we genuinely feel a bit bad taking advantage of our respective memberships! PlayStation is definitely on a roll with its membership offerings this year, and this month certainly does not disappoint.
This month’s newest batch of titles heading to the prized games catalogue include Kena: The Bridge of Spirits, Doom Eternal, Rider’s Republic, and 2 excellent Wolfenstein games. That is one hell of a batch if I ever saw one! Take note that this came on the heels of the previous month which brought awesome titles such as Ghostwire Tokyo, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, and Tchia to name a few into the catalogue as well.

Perhaps the Most Well-Balanced PS Plus Games Catalogue Addition to Date
We cannot help but be astounded by the fact that PlayStation Plus members would be getting both Wolfenstein 2 and Doom Eternal for free this month. Several gaming media outlets scored both titles 9 out of 10. They praised them as masterpieces for delivering visceral, yet satisfying gameplay that only a few titles then and now had managed to deliver.
Furthermore, this month’s additions also have some excellent light-hearted titles that both adults and kids would certainly love. If you don’t want anything to do with the gore and adult themes, worry not. April’s new additions also had you covered. Check out Kena: Bridge of Spirits and Sackboy: A Big Adventure instead! While admittedly catered for kids, both games are excellent in their own right and are worth checking out. These titles would give you lovely family time in front of the TV. Sometimes, none can be sweeter than that.
April’s PlayStation Plus Games Catalogue additions truly feel well-balanced this time around. It even has something in store for adrenaline junkies! If you love the thrill of jumping large gaps with either a bike or a snowboard, look no further than Rider’s Republic. This game will give you the feeling of pulling off insane tricks left-and-right without actually putting you at any risk. A win-win situation, if you’d ask us.
Take note that you need to be a PlayStation Plus Extra member or higher to enjoy this month’s newest additions to PlayStation Plus Games Catalogue. Expect all of them to go live this Tuesday, April 18, 2023.
