Why Did FaZe Clan Valorant Dissolve?
Earlier, the organization released a Twitter statement saying goodbye to their men’s roster for Valorant. There might be many reasons why they decided to dissolve the team. We also have to take into account that their last successful performance was in March 2022. This also means that a full year went by for them and they found no traction for the game.
However, FaZe Clan will still have a female Valorant roster, which will focus on the Game Changers Series. Yet, this dissolving of a roster also means the release of star players, like mummAy and babybay. So, why did they decide to say adios to the team?
This isn’t the first Esports organization to dissolve their Valorant rosters. Powerhouses like G2 Esports and Team Solo Mid (TSM) also released their players. Yet, it does not come as a surprise to many fans and professionals.
Although it does not indicate the death of Valorant, it involves the lack of opportunities outside of VCT Champions. Valorant Esports did not make any announcements for the future, which led to FaZe Clan and other orgs dissolving their Valorant rosters. After all, organizations need more opportunities to grow and make returns for their teams to survive.
So, what do you think of this? Will we see other teams dissolving their rosters? We’ll let you know more as we get information. So, stay tuned to the website for more Valorant news.
