Samsung and MOONTON Launch Campus Esports Tournament for MLBB
Samsung has partnered with MOONTON Games to introduce the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Campus Series, a collegiate tournament aimed at nurturing young esports talent across Southeast Asia.
The tournament will feature local qualifiers in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines, starting on April 25, 2025, with regional finals set for June in Indonesia. Competing teams will battle for a $40,000 prize pool and a chance to showcase their skills on a bigger stage.
Samsung will provide Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphones to participants, ensuring high-performance gameplay. The initiative is part of Samsung’s Galaxy Gaming Academy, which aims to equip students with the best tools to improve their skills and gain esports experience.
With MLBB’s growing popularity, the Campus Series joins a list of major events in 2025, including the MLBB Mobile Masters in Jakarta and an all-female competition leading to the Esports World Cup.
