League of Legends Naafiri Will Receive Nerfs Immediately

League of Legends will immediately nerf Naafiri once she arrives on the Summoner’s Rift. After all, she’s already dominating the mid-lane meta in normal and ranked queues. Why Naafiri Gets Nerfed in League of Legends

We are not joking when we say that Naafiri has an all-time record of over 50% in her win rate. This is also coming from high-ranked lobbies who play the champion in the mid-lane. According to Raptorr, Riot’s Champion Design Manager:

“We are thus far happy with the shape of where she’s landing and are not seeing any major systemic problems.” However, he also stated that it’s still the first day and players are getting used to Naafiri in League of Legends.

It also explains why the developers wanted to slightly nerf her abilities while players continue to practice. Here’s a list of what they changed so far:

Q – Darkin Daggers.
- Now deals less damage after level one. Her power spike after players maxed the ability was too much. Now, Naafiri will deal less damage to minions and balance her wave clear in League of Legends.
E – Eviscerate.
- This ability also deals less damage after level one. Since the champion is near OP during the transition from laning phase due to the gold advantage, it makes sense.
R – The Call of the Pack.
- AD Buff decreased by almost 50%. However, at maximum level, the ultimate is still the same.

Naafiri also has a win rate of over 40% in the Jungle of League of Legends. Although it’s a recommended secondary role, the devs are questioning her viability. They also stated that they will explore more changes for the champion later, which might arrive in early August.
