The recent AFK update in League of Legends caused quite the confusion for Yuumi players. After all, playing Yuumi can make you go AFK (away from the keyboard) from time to time. Now, players will have to think twice before disappearing with the new update. Here’s what we know so far.

League of Legends AFK Update

In League of Legends, it is crucial to be aware of everything going on in the Summoner’s Rift. However, that’s not entirely the case for some players. Yuumi is a champion in the game who can shoulder ride on their teammates. This also means that players using the cat support only need to press some buttons instead of moving the champion around.

However, for the AFK update in League of Legends, it seems to be a glitch for Yuumi mains. The developers intended to improve the AFK detection system with the new update. Yet, a bug is punishing players using Yuumi for the champion’s mechanics. Apparently, the game marks you as AFK if you attach yourself to a teammate at the beginning of the match.

It will trigger a countdown that will start a remake vote and could make you lose LP. Although it’s the system’s mistake, Riot has yet to address the issue or make a solution. So, the advice is now to make sure to detach and reattach yourself constantly in the game. After all, you wouldn’t want the bug to detect you as an AFK player using Yuumi.
