Kai’Sa in League of Legends Will Receive Nerfs in Patch 13.15

Riot Games decided to nerf Kai’Sa in League of Legends in the latest patch. Although it might bring some balance back to the game, the community is not in favor. After all, Kai’Sa became the go-to pick after they nerfed Zeri into the ground. So, what kind of nerfs will we see for Kai’Sa in Patch 13.15?

Nerfs for Kai’Sa in League of Legends

Ever since Zeri’s harsh nerfs, Kai’Sa became the highest-picked bot laner. It also revealed the Ability Power (AP) build that left lobbies in shambles. Due to this, it would make sense that Riot would want to nerf her alongside Naafiri. After all, they’re both dominating in high-elo lobbies with above-average win rates.

Yet, it is worth noting that Kai’Sa is also the go-to pick from professional players in League of Legends. She continues to receive high pick and ban rates. Since then, Matt Leung-Harrison, Riot Lead Designer of the LoL Balance Team, announced their plans for Kai’Sa.

Although there aren’t any specifics yet, Matt specified that they would target her Void Seeker ability. Based on the facts, we can assume that they might reduce the AP damage or scaling of the ability. Matt also revealed they would nerf the Statikk Shiv, which might affect the champion’s win rate. After all, she does build this as her second item for lane domination.
