Nova Esports Crowned Champions of Honor of Kings Invitational Season 3
Malaysia’s Nova Esports triumphed at the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 3, defeating South Korea’s Nongshim Redforce 4-3 in a thrilling grand finals on March 1.
The intense seven-game series ended in an Ultimate Battle, securing Nova Esports the US$100,000 grand prize from the tournament’s US$300,000 prize pool.
Nongshim Redforce set the pace early, striking first and taking the series lead. However, Nova Esports adapted quickly, winning games two and three with dominant performances.
Their signature Menki and Agudo picks in games four and five were countered, allowing Nongshim to reclaim the lead at 3-2.
Facing elimination, Nova Esports forced an Ultimate Battle and capitalized on a crucial Tyrant fight to secure the championship.
Nova Esports dominated the Group Stage and overcame tough playoff challenges, including a 4-3 win over Team Vitality. With this victory, they now set their sights on the Malaysia Kings League as Honor of Kings expands globally.
