Unlock 7-Star Raids Pokemon

Unlocking seven-star Tera Raids in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is relatively simple. You can find them easily since they only appear during set event periods.

Once an event begins, certain Black Tera Raid Crystals around the Paldea region will shift to 7-star raids. This only happens during an event as they are normally 6-star raids.

You can easily find the Black Tera Raid Crystals because they have a distinct icon on the map and ones from events typically have a unique white glow. Keep in mind that this also means you will need to unlock six-star Tera Raids to have access to 7-star raids.

You can unlock it through 6-star raids by completing the main story. Completing it means finishing Victory Road, Starfall Street, Path of Legends, and completing the academy ace Tournament. This is in addition to participating in a handful of raids to prompt a call from Professor Jacq about the Black Tera Crystals.

If you go online while an event is taking place, you will have access to one seven-star Tera Raid battle. You can only have access to one seven-star Tera Raid battle in your world each day. You can join more of these raids using the Poke Portal online matchmaking feature for Tera Raid battles.

The event extends for players by not signing onto Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s online features after the event’s conclusion. One raid will continue appearing each day, allowing you to farm the great rewards in 7-star raids.

Tera Raid Rewards

Just like any other raid in the game, 7-Star Tera Raids offer a variety of rewards. Since this is the hardest raid in the game, you can expect a trove of rare items. It includes XP Candy and Herba Mystica for clearing the “Unrivaled Challenge.”

The biggest reward for these raids is you get to catch a Pokemon that you will not get by simply playing Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. For example, the overly popular Charizard evolution line is not found in the game.

However, due to the 7-Star Tera Raid event, you can catch the coveted Pokemon for a limited amount of time. The Unrivaled Charizard event introduced 7-star Tera Raids to the game. The event featured a Dragon Tera Type Charizard which is certainly unique.

Additionally, if you catch an Unrivaled Pokémon by clearing the raid it will feature a special Mark you can equip in its Summary known as the Mightiest Mark. Some of them even have their hidden abilities unlocked which is a cherry on top.
