Before we get into the tips, let’s go over Gekko’s abilities:

  • C– Dizzy: Equip Dizzy FIRE to send Dizzy soaring forward through the air. Dizzy charges and then unleash plasma blasts at enemies in line of sight. Enemies hit by her plasma are blinded. When Dizzy expires she reverts into a dormant globule INTERACT to reclaim the globule and gain another Dizzy charge after a short cooldown.
  • Q – Wingman: Equip Wingman FIRE to send Wingman forward seeking enemies. Wingman unleashes a concussive blast toward the first enemy he sees ALT FIRE when targeting a Spike site or planted Spike to have Wingman defuse or plant the Spike. To plant, Gekko must have the Spike in his inventory. When Wingman expires he reverts into a dormant globule INTERACT to reclaim the globule and gain another Wingman charge after a short cooldown.
  • E – Mosh Pit: Equip Mosh FIRE to throw Mosh like a grenade and ALT FIRE to throw underhand. Upon landing Mosh duplicates across a large area then after a short delay explodes.
  • X – Thrash: Equip Thrash FIRE to link with Thrash’s mind and steer her through enemy territory ACTIVATE to lunge forward and explode, detaining any enemies in a small radius. When Thrash expires she reverts into a dormant globule INTERACT to reclaim the globule and gain another Thrash charge after a short cooldown. Thrash can be reclaimed once.

Tips and Tricks:

Now that you know about his abilities, here is how to use them properly. 

  1. Utilize Dizzy: Dizzy is one of the best flashes in the game, and you should make the most of it by using it to blind opponents and gain an advantage in battles. One technique you can use is throwing Dizzy straight up to peek over walls. Doing so gives you information about enemy positions before it lands back at your feet for an easy reclaim.
  2. Use Mosh Pit strategically: Mosh Pit can be a powerful tool for clearing out hiding spots and deterring enemy pushes. Be strategic with its placement and timing, as it can deal significant damage to enemies caught in its area of effect.
  3. Don’t be reckless with Wingman: While Wingman can be useful for planting the spike or providing vision and utility, don’t send it recklessly toward the site. Use it with the team execution, and make sure to pick it up so you can use it again.
  4. Pick up the Globs: Both Dizzy and Wingman can be picked up and cast again after a 10-second cooldown, so make sure to use them strategically and pick them up after use so you can use them again later in the round.
