Just like any other farming simulator out there, such as Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley, Sun Haven Fishing is also available for your leisure. It seems that fishing has become synonymous with being a farmer, but I do admit that it is enjoyable.
To our fishing fanatics out there, catching fish in Sun Haven is a little easier. The fishing mini-game is more of a timing game. You have to left-click at the win area indicated, and its size depends on the rarity of the fish. The harder the mini-game is, the rarer the fish.
Additionally, you can make it even easier with the help of a skill. Getting the “Bigger Hook” skill increases the win area of the fishing minigame by 5/10/15% per skill point.
If you want to maximize your fishing capability, you can even place large fishing nets on your farm. Those fishing nets require a considerable amount of time, but they catch fish automatically for you.
You can craft fishing nets at the loom or purchase them from Peter’s Fishing Store. A Small Fishing Net requires 20 Stones, 20 Wood Planks, and 2 Silks. However, a Large Fishing Net requires 140 Stones, 40 Wood Planks, and 4 Water Crystals.
