It has been the cause of many deaths in the early phases of the game. However, players seem to survive the gas itself; and since we are all curious about how players survive the gas without breaking a sweat
So how do you survive the gas in Call of Duty: Warzone?
Whether you wear armor or not, gas damage is constant. It makes no difference how far you are from the secure zone. The gas damage is also constant across all the game’s stages while competing with other players and the clock, you run around fighting other players.
- Normal: 12s
- Gas Mask: +12s
- Stim: +12s (2s to apply)
- Self Revive + Stim: +12s (7s to apply)
- Stim from Ammo Box: +24s
- Maximum survival time: 1:28
If your timing is excellent, you can survive in the gas for a total of one minute and twenty-eight seconds. Aside from that, here are three things to remember when surviving the gas in Call of Duty Warzone.
The gas is not something you can kill, however you can prepare for the worst. Wear your gas masks, this helps you see through the gas in the warzone to survive longer. Be aware of the location of the gas and prepare to outrun it as it comes near. It’s a good idea to stay in the middle of each safe zone and keep a close eye on your mini-map to figure out where the gas is coming from.
You can also use vehicles that lay around to drive inside the circle. It is also faster for outrunning the gas while bursting through gunfights. Though it’s not easy, it’s a better way rather than rushing to find buy stations that may result in losing focus. Find a secure location and recover yourself back to health. Make sure you have a solid vehicle that can protect you and that you have some sort of safety net.

Avoiding/ Engaging in Gunfights
When trying to escape the gas, avoiding gunfights is typically the most beneficial thing you can do for yourself. It will not only slow you down, but it will also damage you and your team and leave room for errors. However, engaging in gunfights may also do good for your team. If an opportunity comes to pin down your enemy, you take it. Especially in the final moments of the game where a small number of players are alive.
Even though you know the other team’s position, try to avoid them as much as you can when the gas is running low. Being overconfident in interaction leads to regret almost often.
