If you are a die-hard Pokémon fan who can’t get enough of catching ’em all you should get Pokemon Bank. Well, you’re in luck because Pokemon Bank is now a free-to-use service. There’s a convenient tool that can help you transfer your beloved Pokémon across multiple games with ease. It’s called Pokémon Bank and it is a must-have for any Pokemon Trainer out there.

In this article, we’ll delve into what it is, how it works, and everything you need to know about it.

What is Pokemon Bank?

So, what exactly is Pokémon Bank? Is the Pokemon Bank Free? Essentially, it’s a cloud-based storage service that allows players to store and transfer their Pokémon between games in the 3DS family. The best part?

You can access your Pokémon Bank account on any 3DS system that has the app installed. You can transfer from your Pokémon X game on your old 3DS to your game on your new 3DS.

What is Pokemon Bank

One of the most common questions that people have about Pokémon Bank is whether it’s a free service or not. Unfortunately, at first, it was not. Pokémon Bank is a paid service that requires an annual subscription fee of $4.99 or the equivalent in your local currency.

The subscription can be purchased through the Nintendo eShop. You can choose to auto-renew it so that you don’t have to worry about manually renewing it every year. However, now that the Nintendo eShop for 3ds has shut down they made the service free to use.

Is Pokemon Bank Useful?

So, what exactly do you get for this fee? Well, you get access to 100 boxes of storage space in Pokémon Bank. That’s a whole lot of space, especially when you consider that each box can hold up to 30 Pokémon.

This means that you can store up to 3,000 Pokémon in your Pokémon Bank account. That’s enough to make any serious collector drool!

But the storage space isn’t the only thing that you get with your Pokémon Bank subscription. You also get access to the poké transporter app. This app allows you to transfer Pokémon from your old 3DS games to your Pokémon Bank account. This means that you can finally bring your old Pokémon into the modern era and use them.

So, how do you go about using Pokémon Bank? First, you’ll need to purchase a subscription through the Nintendo eShop. Once you’ve done that, you can download the Pokémon Bank app onto your 3DS system. The app will guide you through the setup process, and you’ll be asked to create a username and password for your account.

Once you’ve set up your account, you can start transferring Pokémon to and from your games. To transfer a Pokémon from a game in the 3DS family to your Pokémon Bank account, simply select the “Move Pokémon” option. You can see it from the game’s menu and choose the Pokémon that you want to transfer. The Pokémon will be stored in your Pokémon Bank account until you’re ready to transfer it to another game.

Pokemon Bank Restrictions

It’s worth noting that there are some restrictions when it comes to transferring Pokémon using Pokémon Bank. For example, you can’t transfer Pokémon that are holding items. You also can’t transfer Pokémon that know moves that they’re not able to learn in the game.

However, these restrictions are few and far between, and they’re unlikely to cause any major issues for most players.

In conclusion, Pokemon Bank is a must-have tool for any serious Pokémon collector. It’s a paid service, but the subscription fee is more than worth it for the convenience and storage space. Now that you can access it for free, there is no reason for you to not utilize this helpful service.  For more articles like this, be sure to tune in to our website regularly.
