If you did not know by now, there are plenty of the Hardest Pokemon to Find in Pokemon Violet. In fact, these hard-to-find creatures have been around since the start of the Pokemon itself. The difficulty in finding them makes it more fulfilling once you finally see one and catch it.
All entries on this list are here for a reason. Trainers can do their best to find them but they have to pour in an incredible amount of time and effort. In fact, some of the Pokemon on this list require a little luck so you can find them.
In this article, we will talk all about the hardest Pokemon to find in Pokemon Violet.
4. Charcadet

Charcadet is a fan-favorite among Pokemon from Pokemon Violet. This little Fire-type evolves into one of two forms depending on which version of the game is being played. In the case of Pokemon Violet, Charcadet evolves into Armarouge.
Charcadet has an absurdly low spawn rate of one percent, making it to the hardest Pokemon to find in Pokemon Violet list. Seeing it in the overworld is so rare that you might not find one in your entire playthrough. Moreover, it requires extra steps when evolving Charcadet.
You must also acquire either ten Sinistea Chips or Bronzor Fragments, depending on the version of the game. These Pokemon drops have to then be traded to a woman in Zapapico, and in return, she provides the player with armor that acts as a held item, which in turn allows Charcadet to evolve.
3. The Treasures of Ruin

In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, there is a group of four mystic Pokemon referred to as The Treasures of Ruin. These four Pokemon are all Legendaries that live up to their prestigious titles, and they are all waiting for your challenge.
In order to do so, you will need to unlock their unique encounters by finding all 32 colored stakes found around Paldea. Each Pokemon requires the removal of eight of its unique stakes. So in order to battle and capture all four, players will need to search out each and every stake and pull it out from the ground in which it resides.
While encountering them is the hard part, they are still Legendary Pokemon. As we all know, Legendary Pokemon is one of the hardest Pokemon to find in Pokemon Violet. Additionally, catching them is another animal to face. All four of these Pokemon have incredibly low catch rates so you better have a ton of Pokeballs and status conditions to help you out.
2. Ditto: 2nd Hardest Pokemon to Find in Pokemon Violet

The notorious Pokemon for all of your breeding needs, Ditto, is one of the hardest Pokemon to find in Pokemon Violet. Even before Pokemon Violet, Ditto is a Pokemon that everyone wants for its usefulness. However, its rarity and elusiveness are well-known all across the Pokemon community.
While it is already a rare Pokemon since before, Ditto is way harder to find in Pokemon Violet. This Pokemon can transform into any other Pokemon in battles. Additionally, it can also do that in the overworld. It disguises itself as another Pokemon when you see it in the wild. You can only see that it is a Ditto once you have entered into a battle.
This occurrence is what makes it so rare. In fact, you might not even know that the Pokemon you are ignoring in the wild is the Ditto that you need. Additionally, it also has a low catch rate so you have to be patient when trying to catch it.
1. Gholdengo: Hardest Pokemon to Find in Pokemon Violet

Gholdengo is one of the hardest Pokemon to find in Pokemon Violet. Why? Because in order to evolve Gimmighoul into Gholdengo, you will need to acquire 999 Gimmighoul coins. Gholdengo is one of the strongest Pokemon in the game but it is painful to try to acquire one.
To get Gimmighoul coins, you have to battle and defeat Gimmighoul and receive a random amount of coins as a prize. Additionally, you can also find its Roaming Form hiding away around Paldea. If you think that’s easy, you have to think again.
While that sounds easy enough, encountering Gimmighoul in the overworld of Paldea is a rarity in itself. You will be lucky if you even get close to 999 GImmighoul coins if you are just finding it casually. Even those who have tried their best to find them did not get so lucky. However, that is one of the endearing reasons why Gholdengo is a popular Pokemon from Generation IX.
