In the world of Pokémon, speed is essential and the fastest Pokemon of all time with the highest speed stat can attest to that. Whether you’re trying to outmaneuver your opponent in a battle or simply get around quickly, having a fast Pokémon can be a huge advantage. Additionally, speed determines which Pokemon goes first so it is important to have.

In this article, we will talk about the top 10 fastest Pokémon of all time, ranked by their base Speed stat:

Regieleki (200): Fastest Pokemon of All Time

Regieleki is the fastest Pokemon in the game, with a base Speed stat of 200. This legendary Pokémon is made of pure electricity, and it can move so fast that it appears to teleport. Regieleki also has the unique ability, Transistor, which multiplies the attack of any Electric-type move by 1.5.

Deoxys (Speed Forme) (180): Second Fastest Pokemon

Deoxys is a mythical Pokémon that can change its form. In its Speed Forme, Deoxys has a base Speed stat of 160. This alien Pokemon has four forms but Speed Forme tops them all in speed. Because of just how fast it is, Speed Forme Deoxys is arguably the best lead Pokemon of all time. Its high Speed has it placed as the second fastest Pokemon of all time.

Ninjask (150): Third Fastest Pokemon

Ninjask is a bug/flying type Pokémon that places third in the fastest Pokemon race. It has a base Speed stat of 160, and it can also use the ability Speed Boost to increase its Speed stat even further. Speed Boost raises its Speed by one stage at every start of its turn. It can work as a pivot with U-Turn, or a sweeper after boosting its attack with a Swords Dance.

Pheromosa (151)

Pheromosa is a bug/fighting-type Pokémon that is a part of the Ultra Beasts. It has a base Speed stat of 151, and it can also use the ability Beast Boost to increase its Attack stat even further. Pheromosa is an Ultra Beast which is fitting because it is a beast in battle.

Calyrex (Shadow Rider Forme) (150)

Calyrex is a psychic/ghost-type Pokémon that can change its form. In its Shadow Rider Forme, Calyrex has a base Speed stat of 150. Both of the Calyrex forms have their uses, but the absolute powerhouse that is Shadow Rider Calyrex is arguably too good to pass up.

Mega Aerodactyl is a rock/flying type Pokémon that can Mega Evolve. In its Mega Evolved form, Aerodactyl has a base Speed stat of 150. This Mega Evolved Fossil Pokemon has powerful attacks and the ability to outmaneuver its opponents.

Mega Alakazam is a psychic type Pokémon that can Mega Evolve. In its Mega Evolved form, Alakazam has a base Speed stat of 150. Mega Alakazam boasts powerful psychic attacks and its multiple floating spoons.

Electrode (150)

Electrode is an electric type Pokémon that debuted in Generation I. It has a base Speed stat of 150, and it can also use the ability Volt Absorb to heal itself when hit by an electric-type attack. Notoriously known as the Pokeball Pokemon, it has the speed to make up for its appearance. It is weird to see Electrode as part of the Fastest Pokemon of all time list.

Zacian is both the fastest Fairy-type and the fastest Steel-type. The Galarian Pokedex describes its Crowned Sword form as being intensely powerful, only needing a single strike to defeat even a Gigantamax Pokemon.

Accelgor is a bug/flying type Pokémon that is the tenth placer of the fastest Pokemon race. It is the evolved form of Shelmet, and it can use the ability Speed Boost to increase its Speed stat even further. Accelgor is a powerful attacker, but it has very low defenses.
