New Valorant Agent Reveal this Weekend

Last Updated on March 2, 2023

The New Valorant Agent remains a mystery, but we will finally have a reveal this weekend. Riot Games will reveal the latest addition to the Valorant roster this weekend at the VCT//LOCK IN.

In Sao Paulo, Brazil, the new agent will make an appearance for the first time before the grand finals. The grand finals will begin on March 4, and fans can get a glimpse of the new agent at around 11 am CT.

While we do not know much about Agent 22, we got a brief teaser of the new agent on Feb. 20. Additionally, Riot plans to release two other agents later this year, too.

New Valorant Agent 22 Information

Riot released another teaser for Agent 22 on February 28, showcasing a text message conversation between Brimstone, Sage, Jett, Reyna, and Neon.

The text message seemingly pertains to VALORANT’s next character. Reyna, in particular, seems to be asked about Agent 22 and says “I trust him,” which could signify that the two have some sort of connection.

The connection between Agent 22 and Reyna is not yet clear, but we will surely get more information once time passes. The newest agent remains shrouded in mystery, and we can only hope that Riot will release more details sooner rather than later.

The New Valorant Agent Release Date information is not yet available to the public. But I am guessing that the new agent will release soon in the future. The agent’s reveal in the VCT//LOCK IN only implies that it will be playable shortly.

VCT//LOCK IN

The fun does not stop with the Agent 22 reveal. Both Tarik and FRTTT, two popular VALORANT streamers, will compete in a show match on March 4 with the agent enabled. Both streamers will play against each other using the new agent.

The teams are not yet announced for the show match, but we can expect to see some familiar faces, including content creators and professional players.

The reveal of the new VALORANT agent and the show match will precede the grand finals of VCT LOCK//IN. Two teams will battle it out to earn their region an extra slot at VCT Masters later in the year.

Four teams remain in the VCT LOCK//IN tournament at the time of writing. Fnatic will face off against Natus Vincere while LOUD will play DRX later this week to finalize the grand finals matchup.
