New Draft Feature Discovered in LoL PBE

Riot’s API for the Public Beta Environment (PBE) discovered a new draft feature in League of Legends. This could be the upcoming Quick Play Mode that the developers mentioned. It’s the removal of Blind Pick and replacing it with a new Draft Pick for normal matches in Summoner’s Rift. However, what could their plans be on how to introduce this to the general player base?

What is the New Draft Feature?
Players know League of Legends for their game modes, especially Blind Pick and Draft Pick. However, Blind Pick is for normal games with no stakes and is for fun and practice. The Draft Pick is one of the game’s most notorious competitive game modes. It’s a 5v5 that allows you to choose your roles before heading into Champion Select.
This feature allows you to strategize and plan with your lobby before going to Summoner’s Rift. These roles are usually the Top Lane, Jungle, Mid Lane, ADC, and Support. However, the developers could be planning the new Draft feature to go a step further.
It seems that they are planning to allow players to choose a Champion before queueing for a game. If they decide to push through with the feature, players won’t need a Champion Select phase anymore. The design is also to promote quicker queues and planning strategies before a match starts.
However, the new Draft feature might have issues. We can’t say for certain, but we are considering Riot’s recent blunders like the Skin Gacha System. What do you think about this new feature?
