Most Anticipated Games in Xbox 2023

Several console exclusives and many third-party titled Xbox Games are coming to Microsoft platforms in 2023. If Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One is your console of choice, there’s plenty to be excited about in the coming games.

It will be a great year for Microsoft and its fans. Xbox’s 2023 console-exclusive slate is shaping to be diverse, featuring everything from cinematic platformers to RPGs to real-time strategy games. The upcoming year will be a different beast. The indie-dominated lineup of 2022 will see changes. 

With that in mind, there is no better way to look forward to 2023. You’ll be seeing all the most anticipated games coming to Xbox in the upcoming year. To the PC gamers out there, some of the games listed below might come to the Xbox game pass. Look back, relax, and enjoy the list in all its glory. 

Diablo IV

One of the most awaited titles in forever — Diablo IV. It will be the newest installment of the storied franchise Diablo from developer Blizzard Entertainment. In Diablo IV, your primary quest is stopping the Queen Mother, Lilith. She takes advantage of the events in the previous installments, which were the decimation of angels and demons.

Just like the past games, Diablo IV will have a total of five classes: Barbarian, Sorceress, Druid, Rogue, or Necromancer. The game will have five open-world regions filled with procedurally generated dungeons. You can enjoy Diablo IV on your own or at a party of four. 

Diablo IV will launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC on June 6, 2023.

Forza Motorsport

Forza Motorsport is one of the most popular racing games arriving in 2023. We’re looking forward to this game after three long years of waiting. Even more, the game focuses on real-time ray tracing, dynamic time and weather, and high frame rates for racing.

Furthermore, the game seems to be going all-out with its visuals. The developers outdid themselves in this new part of the franchise. Turn 10 Studios are pushing the limits of racing games and we’re excited.

The game will be the eighth entry to the Forza Motorsport series. However, it focuses more on the simulation details than Forza Horizon. Forza Motorsport will launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2023.

Redfall

Redfall is an upcoming open-world, cooperative first-person shooter from Arkane Austin. It takes place in the fictional town of Redfall, Massachusetts. You can play as cryptozoologist Devinder Crousley or combat engineer Remi De La Rosa. You can also use ex-military sharpshooter Jacob Boyer, or biomedical engineering student Layla Ellison.

The island is vampire-ridden, which has blotted out the sun and cut off any-and-all escape. You can utilize an assortment of firearms, high-tech gadgets, and mutant abilities. However, you have to find a way to survive long enough to eradicate the vampires for good. 
Redfall will launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC in 2023.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is an upcoming action game from developer Respawn Entertainment. The sequel to 2019’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sees protagonist Cal Kestis five years older and still in hiding from the Galactic Empire.

While in hiding, Cal finds himself fending off Jedi-killing bounty hunters, Stormtroopers, and dangerous droids in his continued fight to take down the Empire. He is also armed with a crossguard lightsaber, new Force powers, parkour abilities, and a healthy variety of animal mounts. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is gearing up to be one exciting game from Respawn Entertainment.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is scheduled to launch for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC on March 17, 2023.

Hollow Knight: Silksong

Another game to look forward to is Hollow Knight: Silksong. While building off the intriguingly enigmatic conclusion to Team Cherry’s first game, it comes with a brand-new story about an abandoned princess clawing her way to the top of a long-lost kingdom to reach a shining citadel.

Skillsong is one of the best Metroidvania games ever made. It’s understandable why this game excites gamers. If you’re craving a good Metroidvania game, check out Hollow Knight: Silksong. 

The game will release in 2023, but Team Cherry’s is reluctant to give an official release date.
