Dota 2 Legends: Miracle and Ame Enters Hiatus

We have some unsettling news in the field of Competitive Dota 2. Dota 2 legends Miracle and Ame announced their inactive status from the competitive scene. These two players have been a staple on the scene, remaining on top of their game since they entered.

It is heartbreaking for us fans not to see our favorite players suit up for the upcoming 2022-2023 DPC Season. As the old saying goes, the only constant changes. We will just have to get used to it.

Ame Takes a Break from Dota 2

“On the premise of following the player’s wishes and respecting his personal development needs, the club announces after full internal communication and friendly consultation and with immediate effect, LGD eSports Club DOTA2 Division PSG.LGD team player Wang Chunyu (ID: Xiaoser) to inactive status, temporarily away to rest.”

PSG.LGD officially announced that they moved Wang “Ame” Chunyu to their inactive roster due to Ame wanting to take a break for the time being. PSG.LGD now only has NothingToSay in their roster after Faith_Bian, XinQ, and y departed from the team.

Ame is a well-decorated player who has been playing for PSG.LGD since 2016. He is a two-time Majors champion after winning the MDL Changsha Major in 2016 and the WePlay Animajor in 2018. PSG.LGD also continuously cemented its reign as one of the contenders for the Aegis on The International stage.

The Uncrowned King became Ame’s moniker because The International championship continued to elude him throughout his career. He came close twice, going to the Grand Finals with PSG.LGD on TI8 and TI10. However, both of those runs were halted by miracle runs of the eventual champions.

OG and Team Spirit’s “Cinderella Runs” became PSG.LGD and Ame’s heartbreaker. Both teams took away the aegis from PSG.LGD in the Grand Finals despite being underdogs. Despite failing to win at the biggest stage, Ame is still among the best Dota 2 players in history and most loved worldwide.

“For the upcoming DPC season, @NigmaMiracle has decided to go on a break to deal with health issues and will not be on our active roster.”

Nigma Galaxy officially announced that Amer “Miracle” Al-Barkawi stepped down from the active roster to take a break for the upcoming 2022-2023 DPC Season. This announcement leaves a void in the position of Hard Carry for Nigma Galaxy.

Miracle came to the competitive scene in 2015, joining the Balkan Bears. He was the first Dota 2 player in history to achieve 9000 MMR. He quickly rose to prominence in 2016 when he joined OG. Miracle won two majors with OG, namely the Frankfurt Major and the Manila Major.

After his stint with OG, Miracle joined Team Liquid in 2016. He enjoyed the most success of his career in Team Liquid. He was able to lift the Aegis with Team Liquid after winning TI7 when they defeated Newbee with a sweep in the Grand Finals 3-0.

His career has already been legendary, and his legacy will go down as one of the best Dota 2 players to ever play the game. He will join Ame as both Competitive Dota 2 Players take a break from the upcoming DPC Season.
