Is There A Pokémon with No Weaknesses?

Last Updated on June 2, 2023

To answer that question, there is currently only one Pokémon with no weaknesses. There are some reasons why there are Pokémon with few weaknesses. The most common reason is because of their dual-typing, or if they are an Electric-type Pokemon.

Pokémon with fewer weaknesses can be very powerful in battle. This is because they are less vulnerable to attacks. As a result, it is not easy to take them down quickly. That is why they are the coveted bunch of the Pokemon franchise.

There was a time when there were two Pokémon with no weaknesses. However, the introduction of the Fairy types during Generation 6 spelled the end of their reign. These two Pokemon were Spiritomb and Sableye.

Eelektross: The Pokémon with No Weaknesses

There is only one Pokémon with no weaknesses: Eelektross. It is an Electric-type Pokémon that can only have the Levitate ability. Levitate makes the user immune to Ground-type moves, which is the weakness of Electric-type Pokémon.

It is known that the Electric-type Pokemon has only one weakness. Thankfully, that weakness is Ground-type moves. Since Levitate makes the user immune to Ground-type moves, Eelektross literally has zero weaknesses it needs to worry about.

Eelektross is a powerful Pokémon with a high Attack and Special Attack stat. It can learn a variety of powerful Electric-type moves, such as Wild Charge and Zap Cannon. It has good stats all across the board with a base stat total of 515. Its only low stat is its Speed stat.

Eelektross is a Generation V Pokémon that evolves from the Tynamo evolution line. Eelektross is a large, eel Pokémon with a dark-blue body and yellow dots. It has a large, circular mouth with sharp teeth. Additionally, it has two arms that have three claws. Eelektross is a versatile Pokémon with no Weaknesses that you can use in a variety of battle strategies.

Spiritomb is a Ghost/Dark-type Pokémon that was introduced in Generation IV. It is said to be made up of 108 spirits. Spiritomb is one of the Pokémon with no weaknesses club until Generation VI introduced the new Fairy Type. Fairy-type moves are super effective against Dark-type Pokémon, so Spiritomb now has a single weakness.

Spiritomb is a slow Pokémon with high Defense and Special Defense stats. It can learn a variety of powerful Ghost-type and Dark-type moves, such as Shadow Ball and Dark Pulse. Spiritomb is also a very bulky Pokémon, which makes it difficult to take down.

Similar to Spiritomb, Sableye is a Ghost/Dark-type Pokémon With No weaknesses when it first debuted in Generation III. It enjoyed a long time of no weaknesses because Sableye is three generations apart from the Fairy Type introduction.

While it is not known as a strong Pokemon due to its 380 base stat total, having no weak point is a plus for Sableye. However, now it has a single weakness to Fairy-types.

That tops it off for this article. Now you know that the only Pokémon with no weaknesses is Eelektross. Thanks to its Levitate ability, it enjoys a comfortable reign atop this list as the only entry. Additionally, we got to enjoy a little bit of Pokemon history.
