ACL Dota 2 Tournament Offers Direct Qualification to Esports World Cup
The Asian Champions League (ACL) Dota 2 tournament is set to become a major pathway to the Esports World Cup (EWC), with the winning team securing a direct slot at the prestigious event.
Organized by Hero Esports, the tournament boasts a $250,000 prize pool, with the champion taking home $100,000.
The tournament kicks off with an Online Qualifier from March 7 to March 30, where weekly winners will advance to the Season Finals.
There, they will compete against four invited teams: Xtreme Gaming, Team YB, Tidebound, and one yet-to-be-announced team.
The Season Finals run from May 1 to May 3, with the top four teams moving on to the Grand Finals on May 16.
In addition to an Esports World Cup slot, the champion will also qualify for DreamLeague Season 26. ACL will also feature CS2 and Honor of Kings tournaments, with winners earning spots in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, later this summer.
