W Streak Esports Opts For All-Filipino SEA Roster, Releases Gin and D0rf

W Streak Esports released Phan Văn “gin” Gin and Phạm Huỳnh Toàn “d0rf” Quốc as they opted to go for an all-Filipino lineup for their Southeast Asian roster.

The organization made the announcement through its socials. Their announcement read “As we have decided to make our SEA lineup all PHP, we have made the difficult decision of releasing Phan Văn Gin aka “gin” and Phạm Huỳnh Toàn Quốc aka “d0rf” from our current SEA VALORANT roster. We wish them all the best for their future endeavors.”

The duo of Gin and D0rf was part of the roster that came from the now defunct Alpha Esports Pro. The roster saw some success as they placed high in some third-party tournaments like BLEED Summer Open where they ended up in second place behind Gaimin Gladiators.

With that said, only James “NoMan” Man, who joined the team back on August 16, 2022, remains the sole international player from W Streak’s SEA roster as he hails from Hong Kong.

With Gin and D0rf gone, W Streak’s SEA roster is now left with the following:

  • Enrico “Ching” Perez
  • Troy “Yort” Hiramia
  • Christian “ChrisM” Rosquillo
  • James “NoMan” Man
  • Divyanshu “LONE” Singh (Manager)
  • Derren “aimix” dela Cruz(Coach)
