VALORANT Champions 2021 Day 1: FULL SENSE Loses to Vision Strikers
  • PublishedDecember 2, 2021

An unfortunate start for one of our SEA reps, FULL SENSE lost to Vision Strikers as the latter swept them in the best-of-3 series opener.

Having picked Haven, a map Vision Strikers are known to be good at, FULL SENSE’s decision backfired on them as they lost 13-5 in Game 1.

Chanawin “JohnOlsen” Nakchain seemed to lost his crispy rifle aim on this map, albeit being the top frag, whilst both teams’ Breach, Kititkawin “PTC” Rattanasukol for FULL SENSE and Kim “stax” Gu-taek for Vision strikers, shined the brightest.

In the second game, FULL SENSE lost yet again with an identical score with Game 1, 13-5 on Breeze in favor of the Korean representatives.

Elamrahim “LAMMYSNAX” Khanpathan’s efforts, who got 18 kills and a combat score of 280, were no match against Yu “BuZz” Byung-chul, who managed to get 26 kills and a combat score of 366.

Meanwhile, the rest of Day 1 ended this way:

  • Team Vikings’ second-half performances led them to a 2-0 victory against Crazy Racoons.
  • Fnatic won against Cloud 9 in a nail-biting series that ended with the EU representatives winning 2-1.

FULL SENSE is set to face Cloud 9 in the elimination match for Group D on December 6. On the other hand, Team Secret’s first match against Gambit Esport will be on December 2 while X10 Crit’s first match against Envy will be on December 4.
