TSM welcomed former Louvre player Danial “RedKoh” Hakim Koh as a coach for their TSM X Valorant roster as revealed in RedKoh’s Twitter account.

“Joined TSM. Head coach for the TSM X VALORANT roster ~ Excited to work with [Catherine “cath” Leroux, Emily “mle” Peters, Mirna “athxna” Noureldin, Karnthida “dodonut” Chaisrakeo, and Leah “LeahPanda” Nemchin-Cossman],” RedKoh tweeted.
In a private interview, RedKoh revealed that he got recruited by TSM as he sometimes coached his girlfriend, Dodonut, and things started from there.
“Back when I was in [Louvre] competing [as a player], I watched every single match of TSM X as my girlfriend, Dodonut, [was part of] the team,” RedKoh revealed. “I was very interested in seeing how that team grew. I saw a few mistakes that were causing them to lose and I wanted to help so I told Dodonut, as [a concerned] boyfriend, about them. Most of it was just constantly helping my girlfriend out to be better and I got recognized from there I guess,” he continued.
He then described being the team’s new coach as rewarding despite the recentness of the situation.
“[Being TSM X’s new coach] still feels new, and weird a little, but I enjoy my time with them a lot. They are amazing people to work with. I used to be a huge tilter as a player [for Louvre] and coaching TSM X taught me a lot of patience and a different way to approach scenarios which made me in general a better person, coach and player. I love coaching overall, I love to help people to reach to the best of their ability and seeing the girls grow makes me really happy.”
With that said, RedKoh will be coaching the team remotely for now and is still open to competing in VALORANT as a player.
“I’ll be [coaching] from Singapore and move to the US in a few years. Since I’m playing from 2 different regions, I can both play and coach. I start work at about 5 am and, in the afternoon, I’m always free to play tournaments with my friends.”
RedKoh is a Singaporean player who last played for Louvre. They were able to reach as high as 7th in the APAC ranking by Vlr.gg before they disbanded last December.
