The Group Stage of The International 2022 has officially concluded. The Main Stage participants are now upon us. Unfortunately, four teams have bid farewell to their journeys at TI 11. For those who qualified, the journey is just beginning. The Main Stage awaits their fate starting October 30, 2022.
Group A

Evil Geniuses solidified their spot in the Upper Bracket, occupying the top spot at the end of the Group Stage. Evil Geniuses had a stellar performance winning a total of fourteen games and only losing four. Team Liquid locked in the second Upper Bracket spot with a strong performance, tallying thirteen wins and only five losses. PSG.LGD secured the third spot to the Upper Bracket with an impressive twelve wins and six losses record. OG booked the last spot in the Upper Bracket with a decent ten wins and eight losses standing. Hokori and RNG both finish with nine wins and nine losses. They will proceed to the Lower Bracket. Gaimin Gladiators sneaks to the Lower Bracket with room for improvement after winning eight games and losing ten. BOOM Esports surprised everyone by winning the tie-breaker as they qualified for the Lower Bracket with five wins and thirteen losses. Soniqs and BetBoom fail to qualify for the Main Stage after losing their spot to BOOM Esports in the tie-breaker. They will go home after finishing the Group Stage with five wins and thirteen losses each.
Group B

Tundra dominated Group B, and they secured the first ticket to the Upper Bracket with a fitting fourteen wins and four losses record. Team Secret booked their spot in the Upper Bracket with a stellar thirteen wins and five losses. Thunder Awaken and Team Aster are tied, and both are going to the Upper Bracket after securing ten wins and eight losses each. Fnatic and Team Spirit qualified for the Lower Bracket, with both of them finishing the Group Stage with an even nine wins and nine losses. Beastcoast secured their spot in the Lower Bracket after winning eight games and losing ten games in the Group Stage. Entity claimed the last spot in the Lower Bracket after winning a tie-breaker against Talon Esports. Entity finished the Group Stage with six wins and twelve losses. Talon Esports and TSM FTX bid farewell to TI11 after they failed to qualify for the Main Stage. Talon Esports go home after losing the tie-breaker to Entity; they totaled six wins and twelve losses in the Group Stage. TSM FTX occupied the last spot of the group, and they were eliminated after winning only five games and losing thirteen games.
