Team Secret exited VALORANT Champions 2021 as they lost 0-2 against Acend in the best-of-3 quarterfinals.
Team Secret lost Game 1 as it ended 13-8 in favor of the EMEA representatives. Despite a nice try by Riley “witz” Go on multiple rounds with the Sheriff, Team Secret came up short as Mehmet Yağız “cNed” İpek and Aleksander “zeek” Zygmunt dismantled them with precision.
Unfortunately for the Philippine representatives, the series ended on Breeze with an end score of 6-13. Team Secret was known to have poor experience at the map and Acend exploited this weakness as they convincingly defeated them in an unforgiving fashion.
Meanwhile, not all is lost for the Southeast Asian VALORANT scene as SEA’s last hope, X10 Crit, is set to face Gambit on December 10.
