Singaporean professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player Nevin “splashske” Aw announced via a TwitLonger his departure from the game in order to pursue a career in VALORANT.
“Hello everyone, I’ve departed from CS:GO and will be venturing into VALORANTin the near future in order to further develop my skill sets and my ability as a player. I would like to thank everyone for the opportunities and support you’ve given me that has kept me going on for these 9 years as these have been some of the most memorable moments in my life. I hope that you will continue to give me your unwavering support as I embark on this new journey in VALORANT,” the former Huat Zai pro stated in his announcement.
Splashske was a former teammate of Paper Rex’s Alexandre “alecks” Sallé, Khalish “d4v41” Rusyaidee, and Benedict “Benkai” Tan back when they represented Singaporean Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team dream[S]cape.
Splashske has yet to announce if a VALORANT team has picked him up or if he’s starting a team from scratch.
