Paper Rex showed appreciation for Wang Jing “Jinggg” Jie’s mom as she took care of everyone in the team who got sick at the VALORANT Champions Tour Stage 2: Masters Copenhagen 2022.

In a tweet, Paper Rex revealed how Jinggg’s mom extended her “motherly care” to everyone who contracted COVID-19 and was in isolation.

“She came to Copenhagen to support her son but ended up extending her motherly care to 5 of his teammates in isolation. From all of us at PRX, thank you, Pearl! Your care for our team and players is heartwarming,” Paper Rex stated.

Paper Rex’s unfortunate COVID situation started with Jason “f0rsakeN” Susanto as he tested positive for the virus before they were able to play their first match at Masters Copenhagen. Eventually, Khalish “d4v41” Rusyaidee, team manager Joshua “JdFaker” Fok, coach Alex “alecks” Salle, and Jinggg himself soon contracted the same thing and got immediately isolated.

Fortunately for Paper Rex, all of the players were only experiencing mild symptoms while F0rsakeN has since recovered from it.

Paper Rex’s next match in Masters Copenhagen will be against OpTic Gaming in the upper finals of the playoffs.
