ONIC Domination In Ascent
ONIC dominated in Ascent as they took the game 13-2.
ONIC had a fantastic showing all throughout the match. As defenders, they did not allow MiTH to take hold of any sites. Their proactiveness to take an early aggressive map control paid dividends as they jawdroppingly took 10 rounds in the first half. From there, they simply cruised in three rounds in the second half to win the game.
ONIC Outlives MiTH In Fracture
ONIC outlived MiTH in Fracture as they scrappily made a comeback win in Fracture.
The second game of the series was a battle of the Neons with Cahya “Monyet” Nugraha from ONIC while MiTH had Kadoom. Despite winning the first three rounds, ONIC had a five-round losing streak as they were unable to handle MiTH. By the end of the first half, ONIC trailed four rounds behind MiTH’s eight rounds. Fortunately, Monyet turned up his speed in the second half, he even got an ace at Round 16, to help his team turn things around and win 13-11.
With this win, ONIC is set to face Singapore’s Gaimin Gladiators in the upper bracket Winners Match in Group A. Meanwhile, MiTH falls to the lower bracket where they will face Griffin E-sports in the Elimination Match.
