Filipino esports organization NAOS Esports released Sion “VaZe” Eom after a brief 2-month coaching stint from its VALORANT roster.
“Thank you [Coach VaZe] for the knowledge and wisdom you have imparted onto the team! We wish you nothing but the best and will be cheering you on your future endeavors. Keep flying high!,” NAOS announced.
The South Korean coach joined the team back in June of this year to help guide a restructured roster after NAOS released three of its founding players, with their video announcement praised and lauded by the community as one of the best reveals executed so far in the APAC scene.
Within VaZe’s tenure as the team’s head coach, NAOS Esports saw some high placements in third-party tournaments such as a third-place finish at the BLEED Summer Open. However, their last ride together as a team in the Predator League 2022 – Philippines was a nonsuccess as they merely dropped out of the tournament after they sported a losing 1-2 record in the tournament’s group stage.
With VaZe gone, NAOS is left with the following people in its roster:
- Oscar “Kakarot” Farin Jr.
- Emmanuelle Jonathan “jEEE” Buenavidez
- Shaun Matthew “blurred” Maglasang
- Noel “NDG” De Guia
- Jerome “Mojer” Literal
- Vince Sambillon “Backstab” Belino (Manager)
