FULL SENSE won the VALORANT APAC Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) by going 3-2 against Northeption in the best-of-5 grand finals. They became the final representatives for the APAC region for the upcoming Valorant Champions 2021.
With Paper Rex and Boom eliminated in the playoffs, the squad of Chanitpak “ChAlalala” Suwanaprateep, Elamrahim “LAMMYSNAX” Khanpathan, Chanawin “JohnOlsen” Nakchain, Kititkawin “PTC” Rattanasukol, and Nattawat “SuperBusS” Yoosawat was SEA’s last hope for the APAC LCQ.
For the first game, Northeption taught FULL SENSE the reason why the Japanese reps reached the finals through the upper bracket by going 13-9 on Ascent.
However, the Thai reps dominated the first half of the second game in Icebox and prevented Northeption from making a comeback. The game ended 13-11 in favor of FULL SENSE.
The third game on Bind was a thriller that featured multiple overtimes in which Northeption closed it out 18-16.
The fourth game on Split went in FULL SENSE’s way as they bounced back to equalize the series yet again.
The final map, Haven, went relatively back-and-forth and ended with FULL SENSE moving ahead late in the game in order to win the entire grand final series.
FULL SENSE joins Vision Strikers, Crazy Racoon, X10, and Team Secret as the final APAC representatives for VALORANT Champions 2021.
The VALORANT Champions 2021 is set to happen again in Berlin from December 1, 2021 to December 12, 2021.
