It was Tier One Entertainment’s CEO Tryke Gutierrez’s long-time dream to create an All-Filipino dream team to compete in the DOTA 2 professional scene. Blacklist International, the esports division of Tier One, announced its partnership with Rivalry to form Blacklist Rivalry. Blacklist Rivalry will employ the All-Filipino Redeem Team for the next DPC Season.
Tier One Entertainment employed the services of Carlo “Kuku” Palad, Timothy “Tims” Randrup, Marc Polo “Raven” Fausto, Nico “eyyou” Barcelon, and Karl “Karl” Baldovino will be the very first players who will carry the flag of Blacklist Rivalry.
Carlo “Kuku” Palad is one of the most prominent DOTA 2 players in the South East Asia region. Kuku joined the professional DOTA 2 scene in 2015, signing with Mineski. Kuku gained popularity during his long tenure with TNC Predator. He played for TNC Predator from 2016-2019, with each year securing a spot on The International stage. Kuku joined Geek Fam during the 2019-2020 season, then Omega Esports in the 2020-2021 season. T1 acquired Kuku’s talents from 2021-2022 securing two The International runs.
Timothy “Tims” Randrup is one of the most talented position four players in the South East Asia region. Tims entered the scene in 2016, playing for two teams in the span of one year namely Execration and Rave. Similar to Kuku, Tims gained popularity playing for the legendary TNC Predator Squad. Tims played for TNC Predator from 2016-2021 securing multiple The International runs. His last team was BOOM Esports, one of the top teams in South East Asia during his stint from 2021-2022.
Marc Polo “Raven” Fausto is a legendary Filipino carry player who played for many teams during his career. His signing with Blacklist Rivalry will bring the total to 9 teams he played for during his career. Raven was part of the legendary TNC Predator squad alongside Kuku and Tims. He is a The International veteran with multiple runs under his belt.
Nico “eyyou” Barcelon is a veteran Filipino professional player that has played since 2015. He is a journeyman who bounced around multiple teams in the South East Asia region. Blacklist Rivalry will be his 9th home in his professional career. He mostly played for Division 1 teams in the South East Asia DPC.
Karl “Karl” Baldovino is one of the most prominent players in the South East Asia region. Karl rose to prominence when he was a child under the nickname of “Santino”. He joined the professional scene in 2017 under TaskUs Titans. However, he enjoyed the most success playing alongside Kuku in T1 from 2020-2022.
