Alter Ego (AE) defeated Global Esports (GE) 2-0 at the VCT APAC Stage 2 Group Stage.

Alter Ego Unfazed In Bind

Alter Ego was unfazed in Bind as they took down Global Esports 13-9.

AE’s careful tactical approach to the game snuffed out GE’s aggressive advances in Bind. This is most apparent when Bryan “Kush” Setiawan nonchalantly took a 3K in lamps (he even tanked Brim’s ultimate for the last kill). AE almost allowed GE to make a comeback in the second half but they were able to put a stop to it and ended the game at Round 22.

Alter Ego Takes Fracture To End Series

Alter Ego took GE’s map pick, Fracture, to end the series 2-0.

Despite not being their map pick, AE dominated the map as the starting defenders. Their skillful retakes, perfect map reads, excellent map control, and strategical executes proved to be too much for their opponents. They simply cruised in the second half, with only two lost rounds, and ended the game 13-7.

With this result, Alter Ego moves up to the next round of Group B’s upper bracket while Global Esports moves to the elimination match.
