Riot Unveils Major Updates for 2XKO in Alpha Lab 2

Riot Games has announced Alpha Lab 2 for 2XKO, giving players another chance to test the upcoming fighting game from April 18-20, 2025.

This update brings new characters, mechanics, and a ranked mode, shaping the future of the game.

One of the biggest additions is Jinx, a zoner who controls space with traps and explosives. She joins a roster featuring Braum, Ekko, Yasuo, Darius, Ahri, and Illaoi.

Riot is also replacing the Pulse Fuse system with a Pulse Combo setting and adding two new Fuses—Sidekick and Juggernaut—offering unique buffs and trade-offs.

Ranked play is making its debut, with tiers ranging from Aspirant to Challenger.

The update also includes new skins, a battle pass, and revamped mechanics like Limit Strike.

While the playtest is limited to North America and Brazil, Riot plans a larger test later, though a potential delay is still on the table.
